Nevahome Kennels is located in Jefferson, New Hampshire. Here sled dogs are born to run. This kennel was established in 1999 by Mitch and Kricket Ingerson. Nevahome soon became one of the largest and most dominant kennels in New England.
Our dogs are trained for middle to long distance racing. Those distances vary between 30 and 400 miles. Our premiere races at this time are the John Beargrease 400, Duluth, Minnesota, and the Can Am 250 starting and finishing in Fort Kent, Maine. Horizons at Nevahome Kennel extend beyond that of the lower forty-eight race circuit. We foresee competing in Canada as well as Alaska where the "Last Great Race" called the Iditarod takes place. The Iditarod draws attention from the worldwide media. With the support of beneficial sponsors, the 1100 mile race offers dog mushings largest purse.

2006 Beargrease Starting Line
The ambitions and success of Nevahome Kennels have drawn attention from the local community. Elementary schools throughout the country have adopted the Iditarod as a learning source. We have visited many schools throughout our area during the month of March while the Iditarod is taking place. On these visits we allow the students and their teachers an up close and personal insight into what dog mushing is all about. They are allowed to meet a couple of our Alaskan Huskies, stand on the runners of our dogsleds and listen to some of our personal trail tales. Nevahome is also part of the Jefferson Christmas Carnival. Here we educate the public about our sport and offer a thrilling ride in the basket of our hand crafted sled.
While dog mushing can be an adrenalin pumping rush, or a journey of peaceful awakeness, it really isn't about the person on the runners. It is about the amazing K-9 athletes we travel behind. These athletes are much more than superior working animals. They are our friends, comrades, co-workers, family. We strive to give them the best in housing, nutrition, training and health care. Our kennel is home from anywhere between 40 and 60 Alaskan Huskies. As you can imagine, the expense of running a dedicated program is costly. We feel that a constructive promotional partnership could be formed.

Transportation for Team Nevahome
All the races we compete in and for see competing in draw attention from the public, television, magazines, newspapers, film crews, internet web pages, corporations, manufacturers, and small businesses, creating a large canvas of advertising potential. When traveling down the road our dogs and equipment are hauled in a large tandem axle trailer, where ample room awaits advertisements. When traveling down the snow covered trails our parkas and hats allow for various patches or your logo.
Nevahome Kennels hopes to announce you as our sponsor when we cross the finish line in first place. Nevahome Kennels believes in a strong partnership and we extend our services to you.
Thanks for your interest,
Mitch, Kricket and Matt
